Weaving its way into my heart
The gentle stranger yet so close to the soul
And it sweeps me, totally engulfing
I weaken myself for the joy of this moment
To allow its beauty to penetrate the depths of my heart
The bliss to reverbrate in my soul
Facing the harsh world fades into the background
What would they understand? What would they know?
The bonds of ego strangle their hearts, their minds
Clouding their very sense of perception, sense of appreciation
Human affinity for the unexplained
Attempting to shatter the peace that reigns in my heart
Strip me of all that I have
But all that i am.
